The Ragdoll cat that hold the record for the most views for a cat on YouTube is none other than Puff from That Little Puff YouTube channel.

According to the Guinness World Records, Puff's YouTube channel has 7,532,180,184 views as of April 21, 2022. As of press time, the YouTube channel itself has 9.73 subscribers. The channel was launched in August 2020.

On Twitch, where Puff actually first became famous as his own began uploading his videos there instead of on YouTube, he has more than 26 million followers. On Instagram, he has two million followers.

This internet-famous feline is described by Tubefilter as "a two-year-old ragdoll cat who lives with his owner Lynch Zhang and their brother Ming, his mom Chocolate, and his five littermates in New York City. The article by Tubefilter adds that Puff is actually naturally inquisitive.

Puff's Rise to Internet Fame

Believe it or not, it all actually started during the COVID-19 pandemic. With the world pretty much on lockdown, restaurants ahd to close down and Puff's owner was forced to cook more at home instead.

"Every time Zhang and their family made food, Puff popped up in the kitchen, eager to feast his eyes on the cooking process," Tubefilter's article narrates. Zhang eventually noticed just how often Puff would pop into the kitchen when it is time to cook and began recording short videos of the Ragdoll doing some of the cooking himself.

Because of this, the curious feline eventually went from Puff to Chef Puff as he is now known to many of his viewers.

"To create the illusion of Chef Puff, they would gently guide his paws (Zhang is very clear that they do not force Puff to perform, and that they give him space if he's not feeling camera-ready) so it looked like he was cutting fruits and vegetables, turning on the blender, and arranging ingredients," according to Tubefilter.
