[RUMOR] Genshin Impact’s Lisa and Ayaka Might Receive New Outfits Soon, Leak Suggests

HoYoverse seems to be planning on maintaining the outfit-giving spree.

The popular game developer is rumored to be currently developing two new skins for Lisa and Kamisato Ayaka following the confirmation of Diluc and Fischl's new skins.

It is still unknown when Lisa and Ayaka's skin will be available to the public.

Twitter Error

A Twitter user going by the username genshinBLANK mentioned in a tweet that that can confirm that Ayaka and Lisa are the next characters to receive new skins.

He explained that there is skin data for Lisa and Ayaka currently in the game's files and that the skins are meant for release in a future update.

genshinBLANK also mentioned that he let another Twitter user, Mero, announce what the skins would be like.

However, genshinBLANK did not disclose at what update or exactly when the skins will be available to the public.

genshinBLANK's tweet is in response to another tweet that simply said "Lisa Ayaka," which confused many of the game's players due to the tweet's dubious nature.

Interestingly, another leaker going by the Reddit name u/ukriseng posted a Discord screenshot on the r/Genshin Impact Leaks displaying a few images which seem to be in Chinese. Translating the pictures reveal that they are hints at the next character who will be getting a new skin.

The hints tell that the next character who will get a skin is the one whose Japanese voice actor got two five-star characters in one ten-pull on Yelan's banner, which is Keqing and Yelan herself.

The second hint mentions that the next skin batch comes after Fischl and Diluc.

The Discord conversation then reveals that the character the hints are referring to is the Knights of Favonius' Librarian, Lisa, whose Japanese voice actor is Tanaka Rie.

The screenshot's flair is displayed as "Reliable," meaning that the information the screenshot is providing is most probably true.

However, the screenshot also did not mention when the new skins for Lisa, and by extension, Ayaka, will be available.

Nevertheless, the two leaks seem to provide credence to the rumor that skin for Lisa is confirmed.

Speculation On What Lisa And Ayaka's Outfit Will Be

As Sumeru is the next region that will appear on Genshin Impact, Lisa's skin will probably be something related to the Sumeru Academia.

Lisa's character lore heavily states that she was a student of Sumeru's Academia for some time, with her being the "most distinguished graduate in the past two centuries."

Thus, Lisa's skin might be the outfit she wore during her graduation from the Sumeru Academia or an outfit similar to the uniform she wore during her days in the Academia.

Meanwhile, Ayaka is a fan of kimonos and dancing fans, which are heavily implied in her character lore and her story quest in the game.

Therefore, it is highly likely that Ayaka's skin will be either the kimono she bought with the traveler during her story quest or a kimono that compliments her character.

Nevertheless, the arrival of these skins could be far in the future. character skins in Genshin Impact seem to appear after eight updates.

Meanwhile, Keqing and Ningguang's skins were released during the game's second Lantern Rite festival, which was released on update 2.4, per VG247.
