Microsoft provides a detailed overview of updates coming to Forza Horizon 5' as part of its celebration of a decade on October 11.
Game Spot writes that the game will be getting new updates, which include new achievements and stories, among many more, for its anniversary.
Microsoft Kicks Off The Celebration With An Update Launch
According to Windows Central, Forza Horizon 5 is the latest critically acclaimed open-world racing franchise streamed and shared by plenty of users globally.
Forza Horizon has been a staple in open-world exploration and race in gaming for ten years now, and it just keeps getting better.
The game is getting major updates going live on October 11, with Turn10 communications specialist Alan Walsh promising its users a trip down memory lane.
Kit Guru said that the Horizon ten-year anniversary invites users to relive the series' most iconic gameplays in an all-access Horizon Origins Story.
The return of the Midnight Battles game mode will also let users play and win in head-to-head races, and festivals will be coming too.
Additionally, the developers had also revamped Forza Horizon 5's in-game music, allowing players to unlock songs by completing Accolades, Game Spot writes.
New items, emotes, car horns, and even shirts can also be unlocked in the game to celebrate its ten-year success.
This month-long anniversary-themed Festival Playlist allows players to unlock old Horizon cars and new cosmetics, according to Kit Guru.

Devs Are Dedicating All Season's Content For The Special Occasion
Aside from the nostalgic return of previous features for old players, newcomers to Horizon will also be getting a special treat, according to Game Rant.
Developers are reportedly granting new Forza Horizon 4 and 5 players with a 67% and 30% discount on purchase deals, respectively.
The Horizon Street Scene will also get an expansion that primarily highlights the look, feel, and features of the older installations of Forza Horizon.
However, Game Rant notes that legendary cars will also make their debut over the next couple of weeks, which will include the Ferrari 599XX and Koenigsegg Agera.
Aside from this, Windows Central says that developers will also be rolling out bug fixes that will polish the course of its run during the anniversary.
In 2012, Microsoft Game Studios invested in Turn10 Studios' Forza Motorsport, partnering with Playground Games to create a spinoff street-racing content based on realism.
Jalopnik details that Playground Games applied Turn10's model to develop Forza Horizon, and it has been ten years since it was born on October 11.
As the first installment of Forza Horizon turns a decade old, Microsoft is presumed to be making a new Fable game and a new Forza Motorsport game, which is reportedly coming out in Spring 2023.
Forza Horizon continues to be a powerhouse in its tenth year, offering a playground in which users can do whatever they want to in connection to open-world street racing.
