Marvel fans are up to a surprise after a new trailer was released for the season two of "Loki" which will be available on Disney+ on October 6.
What to Expect with 'Loki' Season 2?
The new trailer for "Loki" showed the consequences of the decisions made by Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino) in the first season. Sylvie triggered a multiverse with various alternate timelines, after killing He Who Remains (Jonathan Majors), that the TVA cannot detect. Meanwhile, Loki was sent back by Sylvie to TVA and was surprised to see the changes that Sylvie's action made.
Loki is seen being pulled through various timelines from past, present, and future. Moreover, it seems that Loki is stuck in a loop by trying alternate timelines. Aside from figuring out where he is and what is happening, he also has the task of convincing Mobius (Owen Wilson) about who he is and the danger of He Who Remains, aka Kang, to the multiverse.
The phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has been circling into this whole multiverse theme and "Loki" is just one of its victim. Previously, fans were able to take a peek on ow multiverse worked on "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" and "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania."
'Loki' Becomes a Surprise Treat
Although Kang's life as He Who Remains was ended by Sylvie, it is no surprise that there are millions of Kang variants out there in the multiverse. For instance, Victor Timely was seen on the trailer although it is not clear how he will play out in the series.
On other hand, a celebrity will be making its MCU debut. Ke Huy Quan will reportedly play the character of O.B. In the trailer, he was often seen together with Mobius at the TVA.
Meanwhile, fans would have to wait for other MCU series as some of them are getting reworked and delayed.
