Last April 26, Bethesda rolled out an update to its content roadmap. The PTS update is now available to gamers who own the game on Steam.

Moreover, the patch provides a preview for the much-awaited major update to the game. Skyline Valley is expected to get revamped with improvements as part of the Expeditions: Atlantic City expansion.

The patch notes revealed that new Daily Ops locations and encounter groups will be rotationally introduced every two hours. This includes Fanatics at the Foundry location and Overgrown at the Aquarium.

Bethesda Improves Fallout Franchise Amid TV Series' Hype

The recent update marked the comeback of the season event that was first introduced in 2019. The 2024 Fallout 76 Fasnacht Day has an improved pacing and event performance for gamers. The event will be available until April 29.

In addition, the patch notes also fixed a couple of issues such as the removal of some plans, updated rewards, and more. Some subtitles were also updated to match the voiceovers and additional Ore Veins were added to Skyline Valley.

Previously, Fallout 76 enjoyed a new milestone after achieving more than one million players in a single day. The overall franchise also recorded an additional five million players in a single day.

Other games in the franchise such as Fallout 3 and Fallout 4 also experienced a new performance peak due to the Amazon Prime Video's "Fallout" TV series.
