Almost all single role-playing video game fans will agree that "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" is by far the greatest. But the fun does not stop there, as a new expansion is expected to arrive anytime soon. Yes, that is right -- the upcoming "Blood and Wine" DLC is bound for a May 31 release!
Whether or not gamers are fond of drinking wine, the new "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" expansion will still get them going. According to GottaBeMobile, the "Blood and Wine" DLC is CD Projekt Red's final ugrade for the hit game.
The said add-on content will have players discovering the beauty of Toussaint, which is quite different from the ones in the previous games and/or packs. It is reportedly similar to a Medieval Mediterranean landscape.
While Toussaint still blossoms with chivalry and cheerful atmosphere, trouble still follows the great Geralt. While he has every right to, perhaps, enjoy a glass of wine -- after all, he has done the world a huge favor already -- the "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" protagonist must be on his way to stopping a mad killer.
It is worth noting that the "Blood and Wine" DLC is deemed as the last and final story fans will ever hear about Geralt. Besides, Warner Bros. and CD Projekt Red have already confirmed that his story is simply a trilogy. One main reason, too, is that the developers and publishers are shifting their focus toward "Cyberpunk 2077," which is a futuristic role-playing game.
Gamespot reports that the Poland-based video game publisher has released a teaser video, which gives fans an idea of what the new DLC offers. It answers the questions as to why Toussaint is unique and why the place is packed with vineyards.
While the place is somewhat akin to what people usually see or hear from fairy tales, bad guys and monsters still lurk. Speaking of monsters, gamers will be facing new breeds such as giant centipedes and the plant-like Archespore.
