It is fairly undeniable how ambitious the Surface devices are. The Surface Pro 4 and the Surface Book from last season both got generally good reviews from their users. Although these devices are priced way higher than their competitors, it's hard to deny how much heftier their specs are compared to others. With that said, it is also easy to assume that the much rumored Microsoft Surface Phone will also come with specs as top-notch as what the previous Surface devices have.
Knowing that Surface devices never fall short when it comes to specs, the Surface Phone is probably very ambitious as well. Basing on all the rumors that have circulated, here are the Top 4 reasons why the Surface Phone will probably bethe best phone to be released:
The Display
The alleged 5.2-inch AMOLED 2K display of the upcoming Surface Phone is enough to make every business person's job a whole lot easier. Windows Phones and Surface products are known for their smooth touchscreens and user-friendly navigation, making the Surface Phone a top choice for people who are always on the go. If the Surface Phone comes with Surface Pen integration, this would make the phone a lighter option for business people who are currently relying on tablets.
The Internal Specs
The Surface Phone is expected to come with specs that might have never been seen in other smartphones. The phone might come in three variants: one with 8 GB RAM, another with 6 GB RAM, and the lowest variant with 3 GB RAM. The Surface Phone is expected to run Windows 10 Redstone and use either Intel's Kaby Lake processor or the Snapdragon 821 SoC.
Microsoft Continuum
One of the things that other smartphones may not easily copy is the Surface Phone's possible Continuum feature. Microsoft Continuum can basically turn your portable device into desktops, with the device acting as your processor. This feature has been showcased in Microsoft's event last year.
Cameras
To make everything perfect, with as minor flaws as possible, the Microsoft Surface Phone is also expected to come with uncompromising cameras. A 21 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front camera with triple flash are rumored to be sported by the Surface Phone.
With all of these rumored info at hand, it could make is easier for people to know that the speculated $1099 value of the Surface Phone is pretty much worth it. However, even though there have been tweets showing people's excitement towards the phone, the company has not given any announcement about the dveice yet. Rumor has it though that the newest addition to come to the Surface family will be launched next year.
