"The Blacklist" Season 4 To Pick Up Where It Left Off During Season 3 Finale
The third season finale of "The Blacklist" has been very dramatic as Elizabeth Keen (Megan Boone) was so close to having her happy family ever after. This was because of an investigation done about them led by Alexander Kirk which has made Elizabeth, Tom and Agnes to Reddington's list known to be containing huge criminals in the country.
There have been reports that the plot for the upcoming season four of "The Blacklist" will be more twisted and complicated; more so than the other seasons which have been very intense already. Actress Megan Boone said that her character's faked death is to protect Agnes from Raymond Reddington, that she may not be influenced by his manipulative ways.
The series will pick up where it ended during the third season, with the season four to premiere on a scene where Tom Keen (Ryan Eggold) is locked up in a dark trunk, trying to escape his deathly fate. However, the actor admitted that though it may not be easy, he will be able to escape such horrific moment when "The Blacklist" returns.

Reports also claim that during first few episodes of "The Blacklist" season four, Elizabeth Keen will be contemplating on trusting Alexander Kirk who has claimed to be her father. Among the many characters in the series, series creator Jon Bokenkamp said that Kirk is the one who holds all the information about Elizabeth's past, where she really comes from and what her connection is to him and Reddington.
Elizabeth Keen's connection to Reddington has been the biggest mystery of the series since the first season and there are hopes that this may be explained gradually as truth will slowly uncover as "The Blacklist" season four progresses. The series is set to return to NBC on September 22.
