Overwatch Rumor: New Junkrat, Roadhog Halloween Skin, Sombra Reveal On 2016 Blizzcon?

Overwatch rumors are buzzing about upcoming Halloween skins for Junkrat and Roadhog. There is also a new Sombra theory that the character will be revealed on the 2016 Blizzcon event.

Overwatch Junkrat & Roadhog Rumored Halloween Skins

Reddit user DixonSeilem posted an image of a strange looking Junkrat. It has been theorized that the purported picture is possibly a part of the brawl mode for the upcoming Halloween event. Speculators claimed that Junkrat's appearance suggest that he will have a Doctor Frankenstein skin and Roadhog is assumed to be his monster.

This rumor may have some basis since Blizzard normally conducts Halloween events in their MOBA games such as Heroes of the Storm and WoW. YouTube presenter Rhykker reported that data miners have uncovered some Overwatch voice files that clearly have Halloween references such as, "Trick or Treat. My Halloween costume? Cyborg Ninja."

Blizzard did add some skins during the Overwatch summer games which adds credence to this Halloween skin rumor. Meanwhile, pictures have also been uncovered showing Mercy in a witch costume and Torbjorn as a Viking.

Sombra Reveal on 2016 Blizzcon

There are also speculations that Sombra will only be revealed on the 2016 Blizzcon event. This new rumor contradicts another rumor that Sombra will appear sometime in October 16 or 17 based on the amomentincrime.com site countdown. By the way, the percentage timer is now almost 70 percent as of press time.

Speculators contend that Blizzard has to announce something momentous for their games in Blizzcon. Sombra is currently the hottest Overwatch topic right now. If Sombra is revealed before the event, Blizzard will no longer have anything exciting for Overwatch to announce.

If October 17 comes and Sombra and does not show herself in the game, the upcoming Blizzcon reveal may yet be true. The upcoming Blizzcon event is set for November 4, 2016.
