PlayStation 4 Pro Reveals Its New Pro Gamer Controller

The Xbox One features its Elite gamepad to compensate with the platform's pro gamers. Sony fans, on the other hand, are stuck with the same lame controller that been entirely the same since the PlayStation 4 launched in 2013. But Sony currently making strides at developing a brand new controller that everyone will surely love. And rather than crafting one themselves, the company has recently announced that it will be working with the people at Razer and Nacon to develop a pair of pro gamer controllers. Just like Xbox's Elite pad, these new Sony controllers feature some extra triggers and customizations, and they will be available in two different varieties.

The Raiju (a.k.a. the "thunder beast")

The Raiju thunder beast features trigger stops for faster and more efficient firing, as well as some extra bumper buttons. It also offers two extra, detachable triggers, custom button mapping, a detachable analog stick caps, and some wired connectivity through a detachable USB cable. Additionally, there's a control panel attached to the controller as well. To be honest, at first glance, in terms of design, it looks pretty much like an Xbox One controller with the headset attached.

The Revolution

Heavily developed by Nacon, the Revolution is also a very powerful controller, featuring four button profiles and a four shortcut buttons on the stick placement. There are a left analog stick and a d-pad that can swap positions, which maximizes overall customization and personalization. the sticks have 46 degrees of amplitude, which are enhanced with some revolutionary firmware for an advanced eSports accuracy and reach, and much like the Raiju, the revolution is wired as well.

These Controllers will pave Sony's way towards eSports stardom

These two controllers will ultimately pedal Sony further towards a revolutionary way of playing games at a pro level. By utilizing these Pro Gamer controllers, a professional gamer is able to make the necessary customizations that will ultimately take his game to the next level. Price hasn't been given, but if we would consider just how much other current console controllers cost, we truly can't expect that these upcoming Sony Pro Gamer Controllers will be coming out cheap.
