Android And iOS Welcomes New 'Super Mario Run' Game; Latest Updates On Features And Release Date Unveiled

December is just a couple of weeks away, and right now, Super Mario fans are pumped and ready, as their favorite game title's Super Mario Run is bound for release next month. In recent reports regarding Super Mario, video game industry analyst Dr. Serkan Toto confirmed that Super Mario Run will indeed hit the market this coming December. However, he did not reveal the specific date.

Super Mario Run mobile game for Android and iOS

The release for Super Mario Run on the iPhone is still a mystery up to now. But Apple users can sign up for notifications in the Apple App Store if they ever want to be notified about the game's upcoming launch. The upcoming mobile game is also expected to hit on Android. But the bad news is, it may not come in until 2017, as per reports.

Possibility of Super Mario Run on the Switch

Although Super Mario Run has been confirmed to come in as an official mobile game, there are also rumors about the possibility that it could also be available on the Nintendo Switch. This rumor surfaced right after Nintendo filed its Japanese patent that revealed some potential plans to bring the game to its upcoming hybrid console.

The possibility is slim

The patent also does mention 'Super Mario Run' by name. It also suggests that the game could be able to run on home video game consoles. However, with all things said, the details mentions still don't confirm if whether Super Mario Run will indeed come in Nintendo Switch, but there is a SLIM possibility.

Super Mario Run will be as popular as Pokémon GO

In previous reports, Nintendo intends to make Super Mario Run as popular as Pokémon GO. Nintendo CEO Tatsumi Kimishima mentioned that the company is expecting that its new mobile game will do just well. Super Mario Run will be available for free download of a demo version. To be able to access the full experience, players need to pay a one-time fee.
