Niantic has finally introduced and added Ditto to their massive hit game Pokemon Go. Fans around the globe are actively hunting for this mimic Pokemon which is reported to be very tricky to catch. As reported, Ditto will appear as a common Pokemon until it is captured. That means he could be anything in the wild and will only reveal itself after a successful catch. Though this Pokemon might be everywhere, some players have currently reported that there are a couple of Ditto Spawn points.
According to the report from Otakukart, Ditto uses its unique ability called transformation whenever it is in the wild. With no indication of having a Ditto-feel, fans are left wondering if they had encountered a Ditto or not. Apparently, it would give more thrill to the players as they will be constantly guessing and hoping for a Ditto on every catch.
Previously, Ditto transforming into rare Pokemon such as Dragonite, Charizard and Lapras was a primary concern since it would greatly upset the fans. However, it was revealed that the said Pokemon will only transform itself with a Pokemon that spawns regularly. Additionally, Pokemon Go players have currently analyzed Ditto's spawn points which was foreseen to come together with other regular Pokemon spawn points. There are several reports claiming that they have caught Ditto twice on the same spot, especially when using lures. As of now, many analysts are trying their best to formulate a more specific algorithm for this very unique Pokemon.
Meanwhile, Ditto is very effective to be used in the gym since it was reported that the Pokemon will not only mimic the appearance of the Pokemon defending or attacking the gym, but it will also copy the moves of the particular Pokemon.
Apparently, Ditto's CP would be a bit weaker than the original Pokemon. However, you can power up Ditto to raise its CP up. In addition, Ditto's candy requirement is 3 which means it could be hatched on a 5KM egg. But some claims said that even if they have hatched a hundred eggs, they are still unable to hatch a Ditto.
