There have been a lot of speculations regardingthe iMac 2017's specs, features, and even the price. This is the reason why iMac fans are on the lookout for the latest news and updates about the rumored product.

VR on the iMac?

The recent rumors surfacing claims that the new iMac will be featuring the graphic chips called AMD Radeon Polaris, which is going to make it VR ready. If these rumors prove to be true, then it would definitely mark Apple's first step on entering the VR arena, where a lot of different tech companies have already ventured into.

Other Specs to look forward to on the iMac

Apple last refreshed its iMac line way back in October of 2015, where it introduced the 4K retina display along with the latest processor chips at the time, the Skylake processor chips. This time around, the upcoming new iMac will be featuring an enhanced 5K retina for its 27-inch unit. It will also be paired with the latest AMD FirePro W9100. According to reports, it will also come with two 10-core Intel Xeon E7.

iMac 2017 Release date

The new iMac is scheduled for release on March 2017. It is, at least, the most concrete news about one of Apple's signature brands. One of the rumored reasons why Apple didn't launch its new iMac is because it is still waiting for the release of the Kaby Lake processor.
