Bandai Namco is set to release the latest installment of Ni No Kuni titled Revenant Kingdom before the end of 2017. The studio released the first teaser trailer of the game and it definitely looks ravishing. Fans are quick to point out and compare the game to Final Fantasy and Zelda. According to them, this game combines both prominent titles into one.
Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom
Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom was first announced during the 2015 PlayStation Experience. Since then, news about the development of the game became nil, until today. Bandai Namco officially stated that the Revenant Kingdom will also be released on PC via the Steam platform - the same day as the PS4 version's release. Here's the brief summary of the game:
In the world of Ni No Kuni, there exists a kingdom where mice, cats and humans all lived in perfect harmony. This kingdom is called Ding Dong Dell. A few years back, a coup had led to the banishment of the cats and their ruler, King Evans. The Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom follows the journey of Evans on his quest to build his own kingdom and reunite the world.
Fans React to Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom
Fans are quick to point out that the game takes inspiration from both Zelda and Final Fantasy franchise. With astonishing graphics which seemed to have been taken from Zelda: Breath of the Wild - but far more detailed and intricate to the complex yet amazing combat system from Final Fantasy XV. Moreover, players can press L1 button to issue a command to his allies known as "Higgledies."
As of the time of this writing, Bandai Namco has yet to release the exact launch date of the game but promised that it'll come before the end of 2017. The game looks absolutely fantastic and it's interesting to see how Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom will go against the popular Zelda: Breath of the Wild which is set to launch at March.
