News that Apple is planning to unveil a new line-up of laptops does not sit well with MacBook Pro owners. Knowing that the Razer Blade Stealth is actually a better choice will make them even more envious.
Razer is more popular among the gaming circuit but it has been dipping its hand in other fields. The 2017 Blade Stealth is one prime reason why the company did everyone a favor when it ventured away from gaming.
The Windows 10 Ultrabook from Razer is as powerful as it is beautiful. The laptop sports a good-looking aluminum chassis which rivals that of the MacBook Pro.
The touch-enabled 12.5-inch screen is also gorgeous. Forbes reported that the Core i5 variant comes with a QHD Indium Gallium Zinc Oxide (IGZO) display with a 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution and 70 percent Adobe RGB gamut. Impressive as that is, the Core i7 version is even better with its 4K display with 3840 x 2160 resolution and 100 percent Adobe RGB coverage.
The Razer Blade Stealth also comes with enough power to compete with the MacBook Pro. The company upgraded its processor from an Intel Skylake to a Core i7-7700HQ Kaby Lake CPU. The highest-end configuration of the Blade Stealth can have 16GB of RAM and 1TB of SSD storage. The new Stealth also lasts longer. The capacity of the battery was improved from 45Wh to 53.6Wh which marks a fifteen percent increase.
As noted by Kit Guru, the Razer Blade Stealth is also comparable to the Razer Blade which is a good thing considering the latter is also seen as a better laptop than the MacBook Pro. Perhaps the only knock against the Razer Blade Stealth is the lack of a microSD card. Razer failed to take advantage of this opportunity to cement its dominance over the MacBook Pro. Regardless, the Razer Blade Stealth is arguably better than the current Apple flagship laptop which will certainly make MacBook Pro owners experience buyer's remorse.
