Lenovo has been offering tiny desktop computers for a while, and in a recent news, the company's latest workstation is called the P320 Tiny, weighing only at 2.9 pounds. Its weight is as light as the MacBook Air.
Lenovo's latest light workstation measures 35.6x180.3x182.88mm and weighing and offer performance that's good enough for educational use, financial trading, or even product design and architecture applications. According to a source, Lenovo is being referred as the "world's smallest workstation"
As far as the specs go, although Lenovo's new PC workstation is lightweight and compact, the ThinkStation P320 Tiny is powered by Intel's 7th gen Core i7 processors and Nvidia's Quadro P600 GPU as well as the Integrated Graphics from Internal. More so, the system supports up to 2TB of M.2 NVMe solid state storage, up to 32GB of DDR4-2400 RAM, and has two storage slots and two SODIMM slots for memory. The maximum SSD storage is subject to availability via after-market upgrade as per the users' choice.
In addition, the Lenovo ThinkStation P320 Tiny comes with about six USB 3.0 ports (2 on the front and 4 on the rear side), 3.5mm audio port, LAN cable port, along with four mini-DisplayPorts and two DisplayPorts. It also has connectivity options like Intel's Dual Band Wi-Fi (ac 8265) and Bluetooth v4.1.If you need additional connectors, there are also add-ons that can give you more USB ports, serial ports, and other features such as an optical disc drive.
As for operating systems, the new Lenovo ThinkStation P320 Tiny workstation is compatible with both Windows and Linux. The P320 Tiny starts at $799 and is available now but the top configuration model is expected to cost twice as much.
