The Huawei Mate 10 is expected sometime during the latter part of this year. The Chinese tech company traditionally launches its new Mate smartphones during fall so it is safe to assume that the Mate 10 will come sometime between September and December. Another indication that a Mate 10 is coming this year is Huawei's propensity to release two flagship devices each year. The Huawei P10 is already available after its release last March leaving the Mate 10 as the likely Huawei device to follow this 2017.
There are plenty of reasons why everyone should be excited about the Huawei Mate 10. First off, the Android smartphone is rumored to have a total of four cameras. The Huawei Mate 9 came with a dual camera system with 20 and 12 megapixels at the back and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Huawei is set to improve on that by coming up with dual lens set-ups for its primary and secondary cameras.
The Huawei Mate 10 will also probably sport slim bezels, according to Android Headlines. The Huawei P10 and P10 Plus sported huge bezels along with a physical home button. The company is believed to be going with the current trend as the Mate 10 will likely utilize a bezel-less design. As a matter of fact, rumors suggest that the Mate 10 will have an 85 percent screen-to-body ratio. Most of the bezels will be at the bottom side where the home button will be. The top portion will sport an "almost non-existent" bezel.
Other rumors imply that the Huawei Mate 10 will sport a 6.2-inch display and 8GB of RAM. The Mate 10 will also be powered by a 10nm Kirin 970 processor as suggested by Ubergizmo. One rumor speculates that the Mate 10 will run on Android 7.0 Nougat though others suggest it will have the newer Android 8.0 O instead especially since the latest operating system is already in its beta stage.
