Titanfall 2 is without a doubt one of the most popular titles of recent memory. Now, EA is set to keep the momentum high, as they plan to release the game's next DLC. Here is everything about it in a nutshell.
The announcement came from the official site of Titanfall 2 where developer Respawn Entertainment unveiled the sixth content for the sequel. It is expected to arrive come June 27 and is going to introduce some exciting stuff. These include the likes of two new maps, a new execution, a new mode and, more importantly, a new weapon slot.
According to IGN, the weapon slot is in addition to the current primary and secondary weapon slots that players can use. It should help them experience a much better combat experience, a notch higher than it is now. Moreover, thanks to the DLC, players will now be able to bring an anti-titan weapon on the battlefield. This only means that they will no longer have to burden themselves with choosing either a pistol or anti-titan item.
The Titanfall 2 content will also bring a simulated battlezone. This will reportedly feature multistory building and wide tank garage facilities, all developed to for better pilot battles. Respawn Entertainment will also be adding the wide-city streets exclusively for Titan combats. This DLC is without a doubt something to look forward to.
Furthermore, among the additions include a new pilot execution, as mentioned above. ComicBook reports that this execution is called Shadow Boxing. There will also be an undefined new mode called Free Agent. More details about the latter are expected to be released in the next few weeks or so. To conclude the DLC, the studio will be introducing a handful of bug fixes and tweaks. These were developed in a way that almost all known issues in the game will be resolved.
