Upcoming Nokia tablet, phablet, and smartphone details leak

Nokia shows no signs of slowing down when it comes to releasing new Lumia devices and more gadgets are coming soon.

A new report claims that the company plans on launching two Windows 8 tablets, three phablets, and three smartphones all under the Lumia brand. Even as countless analysts are calling for Nokia to adopt Android instead of releasing only Windows Phone smartphones, the company seems keen on being exclusive to Microsoft. Its smartphones have become the face of Windows Phone and that relationship seems solid and shows no sign of Nokia listening to critics. That means that Nokia is not likely to launch a Lumia running Android anytime soon.

According to the new report, Nokia has some big plans in the future for some of its upcoming devices, and they're literally big. Sources claim that Nokia will enter the tablet market, further supporting a rumor that has been picking up traction recently. There will be two Windows 8 tablets: a very thin 10.5-inch tablet that will be 8.5mm thick, and an 8.5-inch tablet. The tablets will reportedly sport aluminum cases and will be available in color choices of green, black, pink, blue, yellow, and white. The upcoming slates will be part of the Lumia line and Nokia will put strong focus on the tablet's cameras. The source claims that Nokia will bring "Zoom" to the tablets, referring to a Lumia range of devices with high-end cameras such as its upcoming Lumia with a 41-megapixel camera.

The source claims that Nokia also has several new smartphones and phablets in the works. The low-end Lumia 521 successor, the Lumia 525 will ship with a 4.5-inch screen instead of the 4-inch display found on the 520 and 521. The Lumia 625 will feature a 4.6-inch screen, while the Lumia 725 will ship with a 5-inch display.

Nokia will also reportedly release its first phablets as the Lumia 825 and 926. The phablets will feature 5.2-inch and 5.5-inch displays. Windows Phone will finally be able to compete with popular Android phablets, like the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and HTC One Max. The source also claims that Nokia will release an even larger phablet in June 2014 and the device's display will be in the 6-7-inch range.
