This year's Mobile World Congress (MWS) has been good to gamers, especially Lenovo gaming laptop fans.

Lenovo recently revealed two gaming laptops that are set to bring a breath of fresh air to its IdeaPad and ThinkPad lineups. While these two are mid-range gaming laptops, both of them have something new to offer for gamers on-the-go.

Here's a quick rundown on each laptop's features:

ThinkPad X13s Details

If you're looking for a gaming laptop that has battery life for days, the Lenovo ThinkPad X13 is the one you're looking for. The laptop boasts an approximately 28-hour battery life that was made possible due to its Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 processor, which can carry up to more than 25 hours of battery life in a single charge, per a PC Gamer article.

This is the first Lenovo laptop equipped with the Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 chipset, per Giz China.

Aside from the impressive battery and power-saving processor, the laptop also comes with a Qualcomm Adreno GPU, 32GB of memory, and up to 1TB PCIe SSD for storage. It also has a 13.3-inch 16:10 monitor that is touch-enabled and has Eyesafe low blue light options, per Lenovo's release on the laptop.

Additionally, the laptop weighs only 1.06kg (2.35lbs) and is almost 12-inches long, giving gamers on-the-go and working professionals a portable and light-weight laptop to use wherever they go.

However, that 28-hour battery life may be too good to be true, and the absence of a laptop fan can be concerning temperature-wise even if Snapdragon chips are designed to be efficient without one, per The Verge.

The Lenovo ThinkPad X13s will be available in the U.S. later in 2022 but will be available in Europe come May 2022 for approximately €1399 or $1560. Lenovo has not made the reason behind the delay clear.

IdeaPad Gaming 3i and IdeaPad Gaming 3 Details

Next up is the Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3i, which comes in two different sizes - the larger 15-inch and the the16-inch - and two different processors - an Intel processor and an AMD processor - which will be available to all the laptop's sizes, per Lenovo's release.

Let's start with the Intel variant. According to Lenovo's release, the Intel variant comes with up to 12th Gen Intel Core i7-12700H and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 GPU or an optional Intel Arc Graphics GPU. It is also equipped with 32GB of memory and up to 1TB SSD PICe NVMe for storage.

The differences between the 15-inch and 16-inch of the Intel variant are its displays and battery life. The 15-inch has an up to 15.6-inch WQHD IPS monitor with 350 nits of brightness and a 60WHr 4-cell battery that supports Rapid Charge. It can also have a 45WHr 3-cell battery that can't be installed if the customer takes the optional Intel Arc Graphics GPU.

The 16-inch comes with a 16.7-inch WQHD+ IPS monitor with 500 nits of brightness and a 71WHr 4-cell battery that supports Rapid Charge.

As for the AMD-variant is powered with up to AMD Ryzen 7 6800H processor with Radeon graphics and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti GPU. It also comes with the same amount of memory and storage as its Intel counterpart.

As with the Intel-variant, the 15-inch AMD-variant's display is a 15.6-inch FHD IPS monitor with 300 nits of brightness, while the 16-inch has a 16-inch WQHD+ IPS monitor with 500 nits of brightness. The same is also true with the battery life of the two sizes.

The 15-inch AMD variant has a 60WHr 4-cell battery or a 45WHr 3-cell battery that supports Raid Charge. Meanwhile, the 16-inch has a 71WHr 4-cell battery that also supports Rapid Charge.

The laptop sports a quad-vent design that provides better cooling, ventilation, and airflow compared to its previous generation, along with keyboard intakes. This also means a quieter fan even during gaming sessions.

However, as PC Gamer points out, this isn't a hardcore gaming laptop. Rather, this laptop is a mid-range gaming laptop "ideal for younger, new gamers" who wish to impress with the right gaming firepower. Interested customers would want to look at Lenovo's Legion laptop line for heavy gaming.

According to The Verge, the 15-inch IdeaPad Gaming 3i will come to the U.S. in April at $989.99, while the 16-inch model will hit store shelves in June, with a price tag of $1,489.99. As for the AMD variants, the 15-inch model is set to arrive in the U.S. in May at $929, while the 16-inch will come in June for $1,139.99.
