AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 2 available for $99.99

If you're looking for a good deal on the AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 2, this may be it: Amazon sells it for $99.99 with a new two-year contract.

AT&T curently charges $299.99 for the device, which means the Amazon offer allows for considerable savings.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 brings what many consider to be the perfect blend of a small tablet and smartphone into a converged device that still remains relatively pocketable. Samsung has also included a feature that sets itself apart from competing phablets with its S Pen. The special stylus function allows users to write on the device in a more natural and intuitive way, instead of pecking away at a virtual keyboard. Samsung also introduced unique features that allow users to preview emails and more, simply by holding the S Pen above the screen of the Note 2. The company has already promised it will be releasing a software update that will enable features found on the Galaxy S4, so you can be sure your Note 2 will be receiving regular updates.

The AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 2 features a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED Plus display with a 1280 x 720 resolution and a pixel density of 267 pixels per inch (ppi). It currently runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean but will soon get an upgrade to the latest Android 4.2.2. The device is powered by a 1.6 GHz Samsung Exynos quad-core processor, includes 16GB of internal storage, 2GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel rear camera with flash and HD recording, 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera, Enhanced S Pen, 4G LTE radio, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, built-in mobile hotspot functionality, GPS, a microSD card slot with support for up to 64GB cards and a removable 3,100 mAh battery.

The Galaxy Note 2 also includes Samsung's Premium Suite Upgrade, which adds even more unique and cool features to the phablet. Some of its features include multi-window functionality (enabling users to separate their screens into two windows and use two apps at once), a new customizable notifications panel, smart rotation and new NFC and reader features.

Other features of the suite include contextual menus that automatically adjust based on a user's previous and most frequent actions. Users also have the ability to set up a music program to launch immediately when a user plugs in headphones. New tagging features, meanwhile, enhance the camera application and an optional notifications ticker is available from the lock screen.

The AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 2 can be purchased through Amazon for $99.99 when signing a new 2-year contract. Amazon is also including free two-day shipping.
