Disney+ revealed that the upcoming "The Simpsons" will feature Oscar- and Grammy-winning artists Billie Eilish and Finneas O'Connell. The all-new short, called "When Billie Met Lisa," will premiere on Friday, April 22, exclusively on Disney+.
In a press release that Disney+ provided, chart-topping artists Billie and Finneas discovered Lisa Simpson while she is searching for a quiet place to practice her saxophone. Billie then invites Lisa to her studio for a special jam session.

In a Twitter post, Billie revealed that she will appear alongside Finneas and Lisa in the new "When Billie Met Lisa" Disney+ short.
In the teaser art that Billie tweeted to her 6.6 million followers, Lisa is holding her saxophone while Billie in her Simpsonized version is seen singing into a microphone.
Billie, an American singer-songwriter, first gained public attention in 2015 with her debut single "Ocean Eyes," written and produced by her brother, Finneas. From then on, she frequently collaborates on music and in live shows with Finneas.

Billie's commercially successful debut extended in her 2017 song "Don't Smile at Me," which charted in the top 15 in numerous countries, including the U.S., U.K., Canada, and Australia. "When Billie Met Lisa" is the start of the new season of the "The Simpsons" shorts following Maggie Simpson in "The Longest Daycare" (2012), "Maggie Simpson in Playdate with Destiny" (2020), "Maggie Simpson in The Force Awakens From Its Nap" (2021), and "The Simpsons: The Good, the Bart, and the Loki" (2021).
This new short of "The Simpsons" is the fourth short created exclusively for Disney+. Star Wars-themed "The Force Awakens from Its Nap," and the Marvel Cinematic Universe-themed "The Good, The Bart, and The Loki" preceded it. "The Simpsons in Plusaversary," which was released on Nov. 12, 2021, followed afterward.
