Essentially, the tech giant CEO is saying that the Tesla Robotaxi is taking the price of commuting seriously, trying to make it cheaper than ever.

Electrek said in a separate news story that Musk also offered in the investor earnings call that the cost per mile of the Robotaxi is going to be cheaper than a bus ticket.

However, there is no way to confirm it just yet as the vehicle has yet to enter production for a real-life test to validate the conclusion of the Tesla CEO.

Nevertheless, Musk further believes that the upcoming Robotaxi that Tesla is planning to release in 2024 should serve as a major driver of the growth of the EV maker.

If the claim of Musk is to be believed that it is actually more inferior than a bus ticket, it sure does look that way. Let's see what happens two years from now.
