Alleged Silent Hill Leaks Reveal Details, Concept Art of the New Game

Konami is allegedly developing a new Silent Hill game.

Twitter user @AestheticGamer1 recently tweeted details and even pictures of what could be a Silent Hill game in its development stage.

The Silent Hill franchise is currently in an unofficial hiatus since Hideo Kojima's canceled Silent Hills game that was supposed to be released sometime in the late 2020s.

New Silent Hill Game Leak Details

AestheticGamer1 mentioned in their tweet that the Silent Hill game Konami is allegedly developing involves two girls named Anita and Maya, which could either be the next Silent Hill game's main protagonists or someone with great relevance in the next game's story.

The game could also involve players' receipt of SMS messages which could be generated by Konami in a way, just like what Kojima's Silent Hills might have done if the rumors were to be believed.

According to Eurogamer's article, writer and producer Alanah Pearce heard that the game would require players to sign a waiver before playing so it could interact with them in the real world in real-time. This mechanic would have the game send players emails or text messages presumably written by the characters in Silent Hills even when players are not actively playing.

Pearce's statement was a response to a Twitter question asking them to share something about Silent Hills.

AestheticGamer1's unnamed source also provided images, or concept art, from the Silent Hill game allegedly in development. According to Gaming Intel, the pictures feature a room full of garbage and clutter, a room and a woman with what looks to be pieces of scrap paper on her face.

It isn't clear if the face belongs to Anita, Maya, or some other character.

The other two concept art features a room filled with angrily-written notes illuminated by a dress-wearing fiery humanoid in the distance and what seems to be the player's view of the contents of a letter, which is in Japanese.

Unfortunately, Konami itself took down these photos with a DMCA takedown. However, doing so proves that the company is indeed developing a Silent Hill game behind the scenes.

Another piece of information AesthetcGamer1's source provided is that not only is Konami developing one Silent Hill game, but it is also developing multiple Silent Hill games. However, AestheticGamer1's source didn't specify how many.

Although AestheticGamer1 mentioned that the details and pictures in their tweets were from a "relatively new" unnamed source, they had given more than enough proof that the leaked information was legitimate.

"I promise you, every Silent Hill leak I've said is 100% true has been," AestheticGamer1 said in a reply to their tweet containing the leaks.

Silent Hill Hiatus

The Silent Hill franchise has been unheard of in quite some time, not since Kojima's canceled Silent Hills game and the franchise's recent crossover with Behaviour Interactive's asymmetrical survival-horror game, Dead by Daylight.

The last Silent Hill game released was Silent Hill: Downpour, a game that wasn't favorably accepted by both critics and gamers alike, as evidenced by the game's Metacritic score.

As Downpour was released back in 2012, the Silent Hill game Konami is allegedly developing will be the first Silent Hill game in almost a decade.
