Without a doubt, one of the things that cannot be separated from Batman's persona is his technology. In both the comics and the movies, Batman's ability to invent devices to aid him in his fight against crime and get him out of tight situations has always been a mainstay of the character.

Looper.com and Comic Watch listed the most fascinating tools used by the Caped Crusader, but here are our favorites of all Batman gadgets.

Batman is not Batman without his Batmobile. And that's a fact.

The Batmobile makes regular appearances alongside the hero's crusade in Gotham City. The muscular machine is typically shown as threatening and ready for battle. It's definitely one of Batman's most scary pieces of equipment, having a variety of offensive and defensive capabilities.

Some of the more complicated Batmobiles to appear on screen, such as Tim Burton's 1989 monster, can perform a complete 180-degree turn in place, drop bombs, fire discs, shield the body of the car with unbreakable armor, and cruise at high speeds with a jet engine.

Batarang

Batarangs are an essential part of Batman's arsenal in every Batman film. Batarangs are frequently employed to stun an opponent quickly. In some renditions of the character, the Batarang, like a boomerang, returns to Batman.

The Batarang is more akin to a ninja star shaped like a bat in other versions, such as Nolan's "The Dark Knight" trilogy. Some Batarangs were laced with technology in "Batman Returns," where Batman can be seen programming one Batarang to target three different people.

EMP Gun

Batman usually has to deal with villains or thugs who are also human. Without their amazing powers, they must gather all of the weapons they can to finally defeat the Dark Knight. Behold, the EMP gun.

This device could disable most vehicles or weapons with a simple switch or trigger squeeze. Using this gadget, Batman has learned how to utilize EMP and shut down specific machinery simply by aiming a gun and firing.

Memory Cloth

In Batman Begins, we see some pretty fascinating future equipment and devices that were previously only available through military contracts, one of which is the memory fabric, which lets Batman to utilize his cape as a winged parachute to glide from one to place.

This is undoubtedly one of the most creative and practical ways to demonstrate how a cape can serve multiple purposes for Batman while still being realistic and amazing on a technology level.

Recording Contact Lens

This device, as the name implies, records everything Batman sees so that he may later analyze every detail at the Bat-Cave. The fantastic thing about this device is that it makes perfect sense for Batman to utilize it to assist him in solving crimes after he has visited the crime scene. This is an extraordinarily advanced and intricate gadget for Batman to operate, and it has a lot of practical applications for him in terms of solving mysteries and fighting crime.
