iOS 15.6 Update and Apple Music Bug Fix

Meanwhile, according to the latest report by 9to5Mac, the iOS 15 update notably removes the Apple Music bug.

The Apple Music bug started showing up to users last May, which randomly places the app in the dock on the home screen of iOS, replacing other existing apps.

iPhone users have previously reported Apple Music was replacing other music streaming services, such as its close rival Spotify.

Some folks even assumed that the renowned tech giant is practicing some sort of anti-competitive move against the rivals of its music service.

It seems that way if Apple Music strangely replaced your favorite music app in the dock of your iPhone or iPad all of a sudden.

But the tech giant has now fixed the whole Apple Music mess, thanks to iOS 15.6 beta 2.

9to5Mac vouches in its report that the automatic placement of Apple Music in the dock was entirely brought upon by a software bug.

A YouTuber who goes by the name Aaron Zollo shared that the new iOS beta update stopped bringing the Apple Music app to the dock.

This time around, the music service now works like other apps, wherein it sits on the last page of the home page when it is newly installed.
