It turns out that Apple was not actually forcing its Music app on its users by automatically placing it along with your favorite apps below your home screen. Instead, it was another software bug that kept users wondering and speculating.

As per a news story by Mac Rumors, the iOS 15.6 and iPadOS 15.6 beta appears to lack any new exciting features that iPhone and iPad users could look forward to.
However, it still brings minor refinement to the smartphone and tablet of the Cupertino-based tech giant, ditching bugs that appeared on its previous iteration.
Mac Rumors also notes in its report that version 15.6 is likely the last update that iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 are pushing to its users.
It comes as Apple will be showcasing the upcoming iPadOS 16 and iOS 16 during the WWDC event of the iPhone maker from June 6 to June 10.
iOS 15.6 Update and Apple Music Bug Fix
Meanwhile, according to the latest report by 9to5Mac, the iOS 15 update notably removes the Apple Music bug.
The Apple Music bug started showing up to users last May, which randomly places the app in the dock on the home screen of iOS, replacing other existing apps.
iPhone users have previously reported Apple Music was replacing other music streaming services, such as its close rival Spotify.
Some folks even assumed that the renowned tech giant is practicing some sort of anti-competitive move against the rivals of its music service.
It seems that way if Apple Music strangely replaced your favorite music app in the dock of your iPhone or iPad all of a sudden.
But the tech giant has now fixed the whole Apple Music mess, thanks to iOS 15.6 beta 2.
9to5Mac vouches in its report that the automatic placement of Apple Music in the dock was entirely brought upon by a software bug.
A YouTuber who goes by the name Aaron Zollo shared that the new iOS beta update stopped bringing the Apple Music app to the dock.
This time around, the music service now works like other apps, wherein it sits on the last page of the home page when it is newly installed.
