OnePlus will release the 10T after skipping a mid-year flagship released last year. Its upcoming launch may be less expensive than a typical high-end phone.
After a Year of Hiatus, OnePlus Might Release a New T Phone
The 'T' phone is coming back from OnePlus!
After skipping a mid-year flagship successor release for a year, OnePlus is back this year with the OnePlus 10T.
OnePlus' rumored new release is also said to have a glass back and a plastic frame, which suggests that, while having flagship internals, this phone may be less expensive than the average high-end phone.
With this product, OnePlus is clearly focused on its advantages, including rapid charging technology, quick performance, and pricing that is anticipated to undercut the competition. In addition, it is abandoning several iconic features like the alert slider or mute switch.
A previous report from last year said the new phone would cost between $470 and $600 in China. The OnePlus 10T will be much less expensive than prior OnePlus flagships, even if it will probably cost more in overseas markets due to taxes and levies.
OnePlus 9 Pro vs. OnePlus T10: Is it Worth it to Upgrade?
Since the OnePlus 8T release in 2020, the tech company has not launched a succeeding phone under the T series. However, the company unveiled the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro the year after it.
The business chose not to recreate the wheel in light of the successful screen from the previous year. With the OnePlus 9 Pro, you will get a 6.7-inch, 120Hz, QHD+ AMOLED with 10-bit color support, an all-star specification.
It is also powered by Qualcomm's top-tier Snapdragon 888 5G chipset. It's paired with either 8GB RAM and 128GB storage or 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
The T10, on the other side, has a 6.7-inch OLED screen with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz adaptive screen refresh rate, made possible by LTPO technology. Also, it has up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage and is powered by the most recent Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset.
The 9 Pro's 48Mp main camera's proprietary Sony IMX789 sensor boosts color to the point where images start to appear overexposed and unnatural. In most cases, the 50Mp ultrawide, which uses an IMX700 sensor, performs better. Compared to the main camera, the colors are less vibrant and saturated. However, some tones still have an unnecessary pop.
In contrast, the 10T has a 50MP primary camera, a 16MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera, which are anticipated to be the three cameras on the rear of the 10T. In this case, the lack of a telephoto lens is notable since it represents yet another concession to achieve a lower price point. This will severely affect your close-up and portrait images.
One of the Snapdragon 888 phones we've examined breaks the 10-hour threshold in the Geekbench battery test. The 4500mAh battery easily lasts a day while in use, albeit it quite last two. Nevertheless, it relieves you of the constant need to plug it in.
The 4,800mAh battery in the OnePlus 10T will allow 150W of absolutely ridiculous rapid charging, which is the quickest we've seen on the phone to date.
