Dodge Challenger, Charger
As per the latest story by Inside EVs, several folks have predicted that Dodge would be launching its last fuel-powered vehicle in late 2020, as electric vehicles (EVs) aggressively dominate the auto market these days.
However, Dodge has yet to release the electronic counterparts of its phenomenal offerings, such as the Challenger and Charger.
Inside EVs notes in its report that the duo has been heralded as two of the most popular muscle cars in the United States, thanks to its looks and power.
It offers a distinctly aggressive aesthetic that sets itself apart from other vehicles on the road. And its Hemi V8 engine pushes it to fast speeds without any sweat.
Not to mention that the impeccable design and roaring power come at prices that are not far reachable for most mortals.

And on top of that, Dodge has spilled the beans for its two iconic nameplates.
The confirmation from the automaker comes as a recent report from Motor Trend claims that the next-generation Charger and Challenger will retain the Hemi V8 power, according to a report by Motor1.
The spokesperson of Dodge straightened the facts, telling Motor1 that "the story is incorrect."
The Dodge representative further notes it means that "the Hemi in that platform [is] going away."

So the carmaker did not only dismiss the story claiming that its next-gen Charger and Challenger would still be fuel-powered. It has also been established that the two upcoming vehicles would debut exclusively as EVs.
