Digimon Gameplay

The gameplay revolves around raising a single Digimon from its egg form, according to Game Rant. Then afterwards, hatching the egg into a Fresh, then In-training, Rookie, Champion, and with work, Ultimate.

In the game, a Digimon partner will "fade away" with age, and will eventually return to an egg, thus the player has to raise it again.

In order to raise a Digimon partner, the player must train it, feed it, let it rest, and take it to bathrooms. The training is necessary to increase the Digimon's stats in order to make it stronger in battle.

If a player raise a Digimon well, it will result in the Rookie Digimon "Digivolving" into a Champion form with better stats. However, if a player did not train or raise it well, it will instead Digivolve into Numemon, a Champion Digimon with inferior stats and skills.

In the game, the player's partner Digimon will have to fight the Digimon that have become aggressive. When defeated, some will calm down and work at the city.

The partner Digimon start in the game with a few basic skills. But as they progress in levels through the game, they acquire more skills.

The actions of an unintelligent Digimon cannot be controlled by the player. However, as the Digimon gets smarter, the player will have more control over its actions.

Digimon Producer Considers Digimon Remake

For a long time, fans have been waiting for the new Digimon Survive game. The video game publisher has a good news to fans as a new Digimon Survive game is now expected to arrive sometime this year, as per Game Rant.

Meanwhile, there are fans who have been hoping for a remaster or remake of Digimon World. As of writing, no remake or remaster was announced yet.

However, according to Digimon video game producer Kazumasu Habu, a remaster or remake is being considered.

Habu made the confirmation during a Q&A session at Digimon Con 2022. He said that he is "positively considering" it, according to Nintendo Life.

Habu, however, did not specify how the new version of Digimon World would look like. According to Game Rant, "a straight port, remaster, and remake" could all be considered in reviving Digimon World.

According to Habu, the likely project seems to be a Digimon World remaster, which he said is "highly feasible." He said that a remake is a more ambitious undertaking as it would mean adding new elements in the game.
