SpaceX and T-Mobile are holding an August 25 event to "increase connectivity," which the Chief Executive Officer of the former, Elon Musk, says is "special."
No less than the CEO and president of T-Mobile, Mike Sievert, is joining the SpaceX "Chief Engineer," Musk, to present at the upcoming event.
SpaceX, T-Mobile to 'Increase Connectivity'
As per the latest news by The Verge, the joint event of the giant carrier in the United States, T-Mobile, and the space firm SpaceX could potentially blend the offerings of the two firms.
The event could reportedly provide a service that combines the ultra-fast connectivity of 5G and the low latency connectivity of the satellite internet of Starlink.
However, it is worth noting that both T-Mobile and SpaceX only gave vague and scant details about the upcoming event.
The joint event would center on the two big bosses of these tech firms as they showcase something that would help "increase connectivity."
But besides that, the ultra-rich SpaceX CEO goes on to add in his recent tweet that the event for tomorrow night "is something special."
All that said, it would be hard to accurately guess what is going to take place. And how T-Mobile and SpaceX plan to improve connectivity.
