Apple Fitness+ Loses Popular Trainers Dustin Brown, Betina Gozo

Apple Fitness+ is losing some of its trainers, like Dustin Brown and Betina Gozo.

Apple Fitness+ was launched in December 2020. It is an exclusive and extensive exercise app provided by Apple that is designed to accompany its watches.

According to MacRumors, as it reaches its second year, two well-known Apple Fitness+ trainers have suddenly announced that they will no longer be contributing to the platform.

Apple Fitness+ Trainer Betina Gozo

Apple Fitness+ trainer Betina Gozo took to Instagram to announce her departure from the platform. Betina Gozo is one of the most well-loved instructors on the platform.

She was able to craft exercises and workouts tailored for a woman's body. During her pregnancy, she released numerous pieces on the platform tailored to help expectant mothers strengthen their bodies. Before that, she focused on teaching core and strength exercises in her sessions.

The Apple Fitness+ team is located in Los Angeles, California. In her latest Instagram post, she stated that she would be bidding goodbye to the platform as she moves closer to her family.

Gozo stated, "I'm so grateful to have been part of this incredible team in LA, where I thought I would always live...but now my family and I are off to a new adventure in a new state, where we and Aluna will also be closer to family."

After being with Apple Fitness+ since it launched, Gozo is departing the service as a trainer.

However, in her Instagram post, she also informed her fans that they do not need to worry since both the programs and the routines she created will still be available in the Fitness+ library.

This means that subscribers can continue to work out with her whenever and wherever they choose.

Apple Fitness+ Trainer Dustin Brown

Another Apple Fitness+ trainer that is leaving the platform is Dustin Brown. Dustin Brown created multiple sessions of teaching yoga on the platform.

Brown was an instructor in a variety of yoga styles. He spent his childhood in Hawaii and is now a professional surfer who has competed all around the world. In addition, he holds a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and is the owner of yoga studios in Australia.

Just like Gozo, he also announced her departure as a yoga instructor on Fitness+. In an Instagram post, Dan stated that he would depart Apple as he decided to move back to his hometown in Australia full time.

Brown stated, After being in the U.S. for over two years, I had the opportunity to travel back to Australia and spend time in my studios and in the community here.

He added, "It has been a tough decision but I am following and listening to my heart, and I have decided to move back to Melbourne!" That decision also entails Brown leaving the Apple Fitness+ team to make his move possible.

Furthermore, as with Gozo's training, it is also expected that most of Brown's yoga sessions will remain in the Fitness+ library.

Apple Fitness+

Apple Fitness+ is a home training app designed specifically for the Apple Watch that helps its users through a variety of different routines.

It is an app where users can access a plethora of workout sessions crafted to strengthen their bodies in different workout methods.

This fitness app was recently launched by Apple in 2020 during the height of the increasing demand for indoor exercise.

During the pandemic, numerous gyms, parks, and exercise studios were closed to the public. Apple took the opportunity and designed the app to appeal to those users who want to continuously work out from home despite the pandemic.

Furthermore, as of writing, the workouts for both Gozo and Brown are available for streaming on Fitness+.
