Another video game is getting a tabletop version of itself.
Video game developer Warhorse Studios and board game studio Boardcubator have recently announced that it had partnered to launch the crowdfunding campaign for the tabletop version of the medieval world RPG game Kingdom Come: Deliverance.
The companies had the crowdfunding campaign hosted on Gamefound, the board game crowdfunding platform, per Game Press.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance Board Game Details
Warhorse Studios and Boardcubator mentioned in their announcement that the tabletop version of Kingdom Come: Deliverance, is a translation of the original game "into the real world of dice, tokens, and tactical tabletop strategy."
Boardcubator said that Kingdom Come: Deliverance - The Board Game, is a cooperative RPG that can be played by one to four players.
It will feature a handful of characters and locations with the original game, though its tabletop counterpart will feature its own story that coincides with the events of the video game.
Despite this difference, Boardcubator assures fans of the original video game that the tabletop game is as immersive as its predecessor.
In addition to the story, the tabletop game will feature true-to-life voice acting, from the story's narration to the dialogue between its characters and NPCs, making players more immersed in the game.
In fact, the first campaign the tabletop game will feature has 15 individual voice actors to bring it to life.
It even comes with its "unique adaptive sound design and all-encompassing ambiance" that is allegedly created for the tabletop game, per the game's Gamefound page.
The tabletop game's RPG element comes in the form of its "you are what you do" character-building system, which has players choose from four characters to level up.

These characters come with their own stats and attributes, which players can spend points on to increase their level. Doing so is recommended as these characters can be drawn into situations that feature the tabletop game's "unique combat system."
After a successful bout, players will "find, buy, and share loot" to support their quest that could determine the fate of an entire nation.
If that isn't enough customization, players can expect to utilize 210 items and 108 perks, and encounter 50 unique NPCs during a campaign.
Speaking of campaigns, Boardcubator mentioned that the tabletop game would feature different campaigns, though it didn't say how many.
Despite that, the company did make keeping track of them easy thanks to its mobile companion app that allows players to concentrate on the game while it handles the gameplay.
