Gamers are outraged with the lack of response from Respawn Entertainment concerning the bugs and glitches in the game, and they have been taking out their anger on various social media platforms.
Some of the feedback is constructive, while a lot are under-the-belt-remarks. This has finally prompted Respawn Entertainment to release a statement via Twitter saying that they have a zero-tolerance policy for threats and the harassment of their developers.
Negative criticism is unavoidable with all games as players have different preferences, and there are instances when one and the other cannot be done at the same time, but some developers take in more negativity than most.
Bungie, the developers of the game Destiny, has likewise experienced the same type of aggressive feedback. They backed Respawn's statement saying, "Standing against toxicity and harassment takes all of us working together to build healthier communities. We are with you in that effort @respawn" in a reply.
As GameSpot mentioned, it was not clear if a specific incident pushed Respawn to finally respond or if it was all of them combined. Gamers expressed their dismay as well in the series of Reddit AMAs that were held by the game developers. Moderators did what moderators do, but somehow there were still negative comments that slipped through the cracks.
Devs Are Not The Only Ones Being Harrassed
It seems that even the other employees that work under Respawn Entertainment take heat from gamers as well. Conor Ford, also known as "Hideouts" works on Apex Legends' security system to remove cheaters and hackers from the game. He frequents Twitch streams to spot and ban cheaters from the servers.
GameRiv mentioned that back in May 2022, Hideouts spoke out about being harassed despite stating that he and the developers have been working on the issue. He vented on Twitter, saying that he's tired of people telling him to harm himself or hope that he would be hurt. Included in the tweet were several screenshots of Hideout's conversation with a player that goes by the name "kkoreban" who sent insensitive and offensive remarks to Conor.

What Are The Bugs That Are Bugging The Players?
Gamers are outraged with the lack of response from Respawn Entertainment concerning the bugs, glitches, and faulty game mechanics in the game, and many examples are found in the subreddit, r/apexlegends
u/IcySpinach posted a gameplay video where he tried to enter the side of a building and then was stunned despite not touching the fence near him. Someone suggested that it must've been some sort of visual bug where a fence was actually present, but it simply did not load.
Another Redditor, u/LookLikeHankHill, shared a photo of his/her screen showing that the selection of champions was blank and then asked when it would be fixed. She then resorted to humor by telling Redditors to reply with wrong answers only, which might be a subtle implication that the developers will never fix it.
