Apple Joins Windows In Creating A Better User Experience
After unveiling Windows 11's first moment updates which are smaller aditional updates almost a month ago, Microsoft announced several new features that users can enjoy once they keep their devices up to date.
While customers wait for the screen recording feature and the feature that will let them use the Apple Music app on their PCs, Microsoft has started to release its iCloud Photos integration feature.
According to The Verge, those who would want to try this new feature will need to update their Photos app from the Microsoft Store to sync their digital Apple libraries with Windows 11.
This will be possible by choosing to install the iCloud for Windows app, signing in, and choosing which libraries to integrate with the users' computers.
Dave Grochocki, who is Microsoft's principal product manager lead for Windows inbox apps, says that the company recognizes the customers' demands to view their media collections on their PCs.
With that, Microsoft's iCloud Photos integration makes it easier for iPhone users to have direct access to their photos and videos in one place, as part of Windows 11's effort to make seamless experiences.
The Verge writes that this iCloud Photos integration feature for Windows 11 is only a part of a bigger Photos app update for its operating systems, such as a new gallery view.
According to the PC company, they are still closely working with Apple to bring more app integrations for Apple Music and Apple TV to Windows 11 operating systems soon.
Should users want to access this new update and install them on their computers, they can get the iCloud for Windows app through this link.

This is part of the expansion that the two companies have already agreed on, and which has already brought Apple TV videos to the Xbox, as well as contacts and calendars syncing with Windows.
