Presidency Simulator I Am Your President Set for Feb. 27 Release

Gamers can soon become the president of their own country.

Video game developer President Studio recently announced it would soon launch its satirical presidency simulator I Am Your President by late February.

The game is set to be released exclusively on Steam, though the developer nor its Steam store page didn't mention how much it would cost.

I Am Your President is a presidency simulator that lets players know how it is to step into the shoes of "the most powerful man on the planet" - the President of the United States of America, per President Studio. They will need to build their Cabinet of their most trusted allies to handle obstacles and problems abroad and at home.

Handling these obstacles and problems can affect America's standing on the international world stage, influencing history's course that could either bring America to greatness or obscurity.

Additionally, the people that voted for them are keeping watch on the progress of their projects, keeping players accountable for their promises, responsibilities, and mistakes. These projects, such as the passing of new laws and the creation of government projects, create tangible change in the American way of living.

As such, the American people await their every decision, and they may not like when players choose to drag their feet on the promises they made during the election.

To determine if the people love them, players can head over to social media and read the news to determine the public's happiness during their term as president. However, as presidents, players can choose to not care about the people's opinion and choose to focus on their vision for the country.

Unfortunately, a presidency cannot be complete without enemies - foreign or domestic. As such, it is up to you to handle them in the best way possible.

Players could choose to rule and conquer the world, much like in a game of Hearts of Iron IV or Total War: Napoleon, but using the "giant red button" could spell the end of the world. Of course, the world will not stand idle when players provoke conflict or even start a war, with journalists, other politicians and leaders, justices, and even common voters reacting to the situation.

Last but not least is the game's dialogues, which allow players to respond to NPCs' statements however they want. They could answer inquiries jokingly, ironically, or even seriously.

However, any of these options affect their relationships with the masses differently, with some earning you allies while others can make their supporters question players' choices.

I Am Your President System Requirements

I Am your President doesn't require much from players' hardware to make it run smoothly. It can run without issues on Windows XP, Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10.

President Studio has yet to announce if it would release a patch to make the game playable on Windows 11.

As for hardware requirements, the game needs at least a 3Ghz processor, 8GB of RAM, an NVIDIA GTX 970 DirectX Version 10, 9GB of available space, and a 32-bit version of nNET Framework 4.8 to run smoothy.

President Studio has set the game's release on Feb. 27 but has yet to announce how much the game will be.
