It's a rare honor to be included in the list of the 100 most influential people in the world, especially since there are around eight billion people in the world and you have to do something remarkable first. Deservingly, Elden Ring Creator Hidetaka Miyazaki has been included in the list.
Miyazaki's Achievement
Hidetaka Miyazaki is known for creating the massive hit game Elden Ring. To recognize the genius behind the open-world RPG, the creator was included in the list of Time Magazine's 100 most influential people of this year.
The publishers of the magazine determine who deserves to be included in the list. This year, the individuals on the list include "The Last of Us" actor Pedro Pascal, Tesla CEO Elon Musk, TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew, Disney CEO Bob Iger, and English author Neil Gaiman.
All the included people in the list have their own entries to point out why deserve the recognition, and they are often written by someone who is well-regarded in that field. Hidetaka Miyazaki's tribute was written by Naughty Dog's Neil Druckmann, as mentioned in IGN.
Druckmann wrote that the hit game Elden Ring is a great ambassador for video games and the unique feelings they can give players, which can never be recreated in a passive medium like TV. He also acknowledged how the game makes a player feel smart and accomplished.
The FromSoftware's Elden Ring has already sold more than 20 million copies with most game critics giving the game a perfect score on Steam. Just last month, a DLC for the game was released called Shadow of the Erdtree.
Other Notable People on the List
