Google Fi Wireless, previously known as only Google Fi, is a telecommunications service that provides phone calls, SMS, cellular networks, and Wi-Fi. Just recently, it has offered a free seven-day trial for those who want to test out the service.
Google Fi Wireless Updates
While the free trial has already been released last month, it has only been broadly available now. Anyone with an iOS or Androidphone that is eSIM compatible may try the service out for themselves for a week, which they can choose to cancel after.
In the event that the user doesn't cancel, they'll be subscribing to the Simply Unlimited plan, which they can also unsubscribe to at any time. The plan will cost users $20 a month, although it depends on how many people are included, as mentioned in Engadget.
The plan includes unlimited data, which is throttled after 35 GB, calls, texts, spam blocking, VPN, and 5 GB worth of tethered data. However, the text and calls can only reach areas in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Google is adding a little extra to the plan, as it now includes Pixel and Samsung Galaxy Watches regarding cellular connectivity without the extra cost, which applies to the Flexible, Unlimited Plus, and Simply Unlimited Plans.
The Unlimited Plus plan, according to Google, is the best plan for US users who have family abroad. It includes a one-year subscription to YouTube Premium for free, which will cost $160 per month for four devices, or $40 each.
The Flexible plan is the cheapest among the three, which is the plan if you want to only pay for the data you intend to use. It'll cost $65 for four devices, plus the cost of data you'll consume. Overall, that's $17 each as well as the $10 per GB of data used.
Google offers several phone plans with various prices per month depending on the phone brand and model. For instance, you can get a Pixel 7 Pro for $37.46 a month, or pay in full for $889. For trade-in deals, you can cut costs by up to $800.
You can also get a deal for Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, which will cost you $50 a month. You can also opt for a full buy, which will cost $1,199. Like all the other offers, you can also get a significant discount in a trade-in deal, which could cut off as much as $1,000.
eSIM Trials You Could Look Into
If you think that Google's mobile network service might not suit your needs, you can always look into other network operators. Some have longer trial periods while others have device compatibility limits.
T-Mobile offers an eSIM free trial as well, which a user can test out for 90 days. It also comes with unlimited texts, minutes, and data. The only setback with the offer is that it's only available for iPhones, and it should be the more recent models, according to Coverage Critic.
Verizon also offers a free trial for 30 days. The plan will provide the user with unlimited calls and texts, although the data is capped at 100 GB. Both Android and iPhone users may try the service out, given that their devices are eSIM compatible.
