World Records on Streams

Streaming also comes with various challenges. Some of which is breaking some of the most prominent world records like longest livestream, longest audio only stream, largest audience, and so on.

Previously, streamer ThisFudginGuy holds the record of longest-stream without sleep with 162 hours. PrimeTime on the other hand was stated that he will attempt to stream for 167 hours without sleeping on Kick. On an X post, PrimeTime thanked the streaming community and even hinted to attempt 200 hours.

During his stream, PrimeTime played Grand Theft Auto Online while actively conversing with his viewers to keep them entertained. The streamer was also known for his previous personal record by streaming for 105 hours.

Health Concerns Over No-Sleep Streams

While many have voiced their congratulations to PrimeTime, some cannot deny the fact that there are health dangers of skipping sleep for that long. According to Healthline, after three or four nights without sleep, the person can start to hallucinate. On the other hand, 24 hours sleep deprivation can cause irritability and drowsiness and more.

Adults are recommended to complete at least seven to nine hours of sleep to fully recuperate from the used energy during the day. The longest record for having no sleep was approximately 264 hour or over 11 days. While there are still no exact time on how long can humans survive without sleep, it is still important to have self-awareness on improving your own health.
