Google just turned 25 and to celebrate over two decades of service the company released a special doodle for the event. Over the years, Google has been known for releasing commemorative doodles to celebrate birthdays, holidays, history, and such. However, there are times that Google would expand beyond the simple doodle and make them into an interactive one.

"Celebrating Pizza" (2021)
In 2017, the culinary art of Neopolitan "Pizzaiuolo" was declared as part of the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. At this day and age, who would hate a slice of pizza, right? To honor this pizza award, Google made the "Celebrating Pizza" Google Doodle in 2021. To play the game, all you have to do is slice the pizza according to the number of slices so that everyone can get a bite of each pizza flavor.
"Earth Day 2020" (2020)
Each year Google celebrates the Earth Day by collaborating with various environmental groups. In 2020, the company partnered with The Honeybee Conservancy in New York. The mission in the doodle was simple, guide your bee and make sure that each flowers will get pollinated. In return, you will get fun facts about bees and how they help our ecosystem.
"50th Anniversary of the Moon Landing" (2019)
In 1969, NASA made an important mission that changes how we view the world and space. The Apollo 11 marked its place in history after successfully landing humans on the surface of the moon for the first time. To commemorate its 50th year, Google released a doodle video explaining how Apollo did its mission.
"30th Anniversary of PAC-MAN" (2010)
One of the most iconic games of all times celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2010, Google decided to create their first-ever playable doodle with PAC-MAN. The main goal of the event is to spark some nostalgia on every users and discover an easter egg hidden within the game. The game game was so popular that Google decided to keep the doodle up for two days instead on the standard one-day showing.
"100th Anniversary of the Crossword Puzzle" (2013)
In collaboration with one of the most popular crossword constructors in the world, Merl Reagle, Google launched its crossword puzzle doodle in 2013.
