Office Depot is offering an attractive deal on the 32GB version of the Nexus 7 (2013), selling the device for $229.99 instead of its regular $269.99 price tag.

The Nexus 7 (2013) is considered to be one of the best small-sized tablets. Google ships the slate with very impressive specs, the guarantee of future Android upgrades, and some great features.

When news began to surface regarding the successor to the Nexus 7, we were expecting to have a small tablet that would include some of the best specs on any current Android device. It was of course the first tablet to launch with Android 4.4 KitKat and has become the poster child for Google's latest television ads. The tablet is a huge hit with tech enthusiasts because many want to buy a device that is guaranteed to get the latest and greatest version of Android whenever Google releases it, just like Apple does with iOS. The reassurance of knowing you're guaranteed regular and future Android updates is one of the Nexus 7's best features, but the tablet also has a lot else to offer.

The device comes packing a 7-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200. Google has chosen to use a 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor to power its latest flagship tablet. Google is charging $269.99 for the 32GB Nexus 7 through the Google Play Store. Office Depot is offering the same tablet for the much better price of $229.99. This deal is only good through Dec. 28, so if you'd like to purchase a Nexus 7 (2013), you might want to take advantage of this deal while it lasts.

The Nexus 7 features a 7-inch 1920 x 1200 full HD IPS scratch-resistant Corning Glass display with a pixel density of 323 pixels per inch (ppi). The tablet uses a powerful and energy efficient 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor and an Adreno 320 graphics processing unit (GPU). It ships with the latest version of Google's mobile OS, Android 4.4 KitKat. The Nexus 7 also ships with 32GB of internal storage and 2GB of RAM.

Its camera capabilities include a 5-megapixel rear camera with auto-focus and a 1.2-megapixel front-facing shooter. It has great sounding stereo speakers with surround sound and Frauhofer audio technology. In terms of wireless connectivity, you'll find dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and NFC. The tablet also includes a microUSB port and a Slimport for 1080p HDMI output. It's packing a large non-removable 3,950 mAh battery, which Google claims will provide up to 9 hours of active use, 9 hours of HD video playback, 10 hours of web browsing or e-reading, and 300 hours of standby time.

To take advantage of this deal, head over to Office Depot and order your 32GB Nexus 7 (2013) for $229.99.
