AT&T has officially announced it will begin taking pre-orders for the LG G Flex on Jan. 24 for $299.99 on-contract.
If you've been craving a phablet with a 6-inch HD OLED flexible display, you'll be happy to know that AT&T has just announced it will start offering the LG G Flex to its customers soon. The carrier will begin taking pre-orders for the smartphone on Jan. 24 via its online store and retail stores and will ship the smartphone for delivery on Feb. 7.

The AT&T LG G Flex is the carrier's first smartphone with a curved screen and it also ships with an LTE Advanced radio, which will provide very fast network speeds.
As a reminder, the AT&T LG G Flex features a 6-inch curved 1280 x 720 OLED display with a pixel density of 245 pixels per inch (ppi). It's powered by a 2.26GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, an Adreno 330 graphics processing unit (GPU) and 2GB of RAM to provide a fast and fluid user interface. The G Flex includes 32GB of internal storage and runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, but LG has already confirmed it will receive an upgrade to Android 4.4 KitKat in the near future.
The LG G Flex's camera capabilities include a 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, LED flash and the ability to record 1080p video @60fps, as well as a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera for video chat. Its wireless connectivity options consist of a 4G LTE radio, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 LE (low energy), GPS, and NFC. The smartphone uses a non-removable 3,500 mAh battery. LG has also used a special self-healing coating on the rear case of the smartphone that allows it to heal itself from minor scratches.
AT&T customers can pre-order the LG G Flex beginning on Jan. 24 for $299.99 when signing a new 2-year contract. The smartphone will be available for purchase online and in AT&T retail stores on Feb. 7.
