There are a great number of shows that had a good run but did not end on a good note, and many would say that "Game of Thrones" is a part of that list. A lot of criticism fell on the co-creators, and if fans are concerned that they will be involved in anything from the franchise, they can rest easy.
Benioff and Weiss Are Busy For Now
The duo behind the hit HBO series, David Benioff and Dan Weiss are both busy with a different project, particularly one from Netflix called "Three-Body Problem." Even though the pair are working on something new, people still can't stop bringing up the final season of "Game of Thrones.
Unless you haven't heard, George R.R. Martin, the author of the book series the show was based on, already said that the spinoff from the base show will be made. It will focus on the life of Jon Snow, which is why it has been aptly titled "Snow."
Even so, David Benioff and Dan Weiss might not be involved with the upcoming title still. The former expressed that they missed working with the people who made "Game of Thrones," possible and that nothing would them happier than to do so again, as per Gizmodo.
When asked about the spinoff, Weiss replied that there are a lot of other ways to make it happen that would be "fresh and exciting for everyone involved," even saying that waiting longer might make the show more interesting as it follows Jon Snow actor Kit Harrington at his old age.
Of course, the two might just be polite about the matter. Fans haven't exactly been warm towards the two, especially after the finale of the show. Co-creator David Benioff even shared his thoughts after seeing the feedback from the HBO series.

The Co-Creators are Aware of the Negative Feedback
Thanks to social media, people can make their feelings known about shows that may have disappointed them. Just searching about the ending of one of the most popular shows will lead you to a lot of angry fans, given that their favorite characters were not given the endings they deserved.
In regards to the reactions to the ending, Benioff stated: "You always hope everyone's going to love anything you do and it would've been great if 100 percent of people loved it, but they didn't." Fans did not hold back in expressing their disappointments.
"You can get so bogged down in public opinion that you spend your whole life googling things and trying to find people who felt one way or the other way," he added, as reported by Screen Rant. If you've been with the show in the years that it was aired, you might understand fans disapproved of the ending.
Many pointed out that not only was the ending unfitting for most of the important characters, but the co-creators also managed to wipe everything that they had been building up to since the show was first released.
