It's hard to miss how the 'Avatar: The Last Airbender' is getting all the attention it deserves. Aside from upcoming shows and movies, the franchise will also be getting a multiplayer game, and it's actually not the first time.
'Avatar: The Last Airbender' Multiplayer Game
Maximum Games, who have distributed titles like A Plague Tale: Innocence, Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted, and Minecraft: Story Mode, have announced that it will be developing a competitive multiplayer game for the mentioned franchise.
The California-based publisher will be partnering with Paramount Consumer Products in the creation of the game, with Maximum CEO Christina Seelye announcing that it will arrive sometime in 2025 in Early Access.
This won't be the first time that the characters of the animated series were featured or the subject of video games. As reported by Game Rant, they were already in titles like Avatar The Last Airbender: The Quest for Balance, Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2, and Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl.
There's still little known about the upcoming video game, but it is interesting to know that it will feature the beloved characters from the first "Avatar" series. As for gameplay, we could expect the power of bending elements to be a part of the gameplay.
Given the limited information about the game, it also wasn't disclosed which platforms it will be available on. Still, the video game will come at the right time, especially since the franchise has seen a resurgence in popularity.

Other Upcoming Franchise Content
The video game is still a bit far from being released. However, if you want any form of content based on "Avatar: The Last Airbender," then you can wait just a little while for the release of Netflix's live-action adaptation.
The series is set to show on the streaming service this February 22nd. Based on the trailer, the show is already looking better than M. Night Shyamalan's live-action movie, which fans of the animated series despised.
News about a few changes has already emerged, which is causing doubt among viewers anticipating the release. But, given the sneak peek we've seen based on the trailers, it's easy to tell that the characters and the setting are both visually stunning and accurate.
That's not the only thing. In fact, Paramount Panel revealed that there will be an animated movie also coming this 2025, and it will feature the original "Avatar" gang, Aang, Katara, Sokka, Toph, and Zuko in their late 20s and early 30s, as per Polygon.
The original creators will be working on the new movies as well, so we can expect the same creativity we've come to love about the series. Plus, it will fill the gap the viewers of both "Avatar: The Last Airbender" and "Avatar: The Legend of Korra" missed.
