The impact of Nintendo on the gaming industry has exceeded several generations and countries. Hence, families can bond together with games from their youth and share their franchise knowledge with the younger ones.

From the timeless adventures of Mario to Link's impressive journey, Nintendo's library is continuously dominating the gaming landscape.

Recently, the company has been revamping iconic titles that were phased out by time. Here are some Nintendo games that also deserve a Switch remake:

Super Mario Land

Super Mario Land was originally released in 1989 for Game Boy. Despite its shortcomings compared to other titles in the franchise, the game still holds significant relevance to Mario's gaming history.

Remastering it for the Switch will introduce it to the new generation of players. Meanwhile, it would also invoke a sense of nostalgia for people who grew up playing the game as a kid.

This would also be a good opportunity for Nintendo to enhance the game based on the previous feedback for it. It could have better visuals and mechanics while sticking to the original storyline.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

The Legend of Zelda is a well-known franchise up until today. The Twilight Princess was released in 2006 for GameCube and Wii.

Many fans of the franchise have been waiting for Nintendo to port it to the Switch console. There has been a significant demand to remaster the game ever since the console was released. This would also be a good way to provide players with a versatile way to explore the landscapes of Hyrule using Switch's navigation.

F-Zero GX

Initially released in 2003 for GameCube, the F-Zero GX is known for its high-speed racing gaming. The game still has a strong fanbase who has been requesting a remastered version of the game.

Moreover, this would be a perfect multiplayer game that could be made possible on Switch. Players could have the chance to advance through the leaderboard, join tournaments, and compete with their friends.

Donkey Kong 64

Donkey Kong 64 is one of the 1999 classics and ultimately a fan-favorite game. The 3D platformer features the iconic Donkey Kong along with his cast of friends. During its release, the game was praised for its unique and expansive gameplay.

A remaster of the game could debut additional content and DLCs to match today's pace in gaming. Nintendo could also use the multiplayer mode to encourage players to explore more of its world.

Kirby Air Ride

Kirby Air Ride first debuted on GameCube in 2003, the iconic pink fluffy ball is featured in a series of high-speed races and chaotic challenges. The game could attract players of all ages from kids to adults due to the character's nature.

Upgraded graphics and visuals could further improve the entire game. In addition, racing games would be a fun way to enjoy a multiplayer mode. Nintendo could add support for local and online multiplayer to allow gamers to battle against each other.
