Samsung has released a new commercial for its flagship Galaxy S5 smartphone, taunting the handset's high-end camera features, innovative heart rate monitor and water resistance.
The newly-launched Samsung Galaxy S5 was one of the most highly-anticipated devices of this year and it is definitely worthy of the flagship title. Although it doesn't sport the metal design many were hoping for, the new flagship definitely boasts some great improvements and new features compared to its predecessor.
In its latest video advert, Samsung explains a number of unique features the Galaxy S5 brings to the table, while also taking a jab at its archrival Apple and the iPhone 5S. Taunting the Galaxy S5's ability to capture stunning photos, for instance, Samsung also adds that its flagship boasts twice the resolution of the iPhone 5S.
"This is the all new Samsung Galaxy S5, filled with innovations that make every day better. With 5.1 inches of full HD it's the best screen we've ever created for a smartphone. The ultra-HD camera captures more detail in every moment and snaps photos with twice the resolution of the iPhone. It enhances photos before you get the shot, and lets you select to focus after you take the picture," the video touts.
"S Health can give you a nudge when you need it, help you set goals and track your overall fitness with the first ever built-in heart rate monitor. It's even water resistant, so you can enjoy every moment without having to worry. This is innovation that makes every day better."
As a reminder, the new Samsung Galaxy S5 sports a 5.1-inch display with a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1020 pixels and packs the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor under the hood, clocked at 2.5GHz and paired with Adreno 330 graphics and 2GB of RAM.
The smartphone also comes with a slew of Samsung goodies on board, including the company's most popular apps to enhance the user experience, and it is expected to be one of the most popular smartphones this year.
