TikTok ads may soon include AI-generated avatars of your favorite content creators and influencers on the platform as the video-sharing site continues to embrace generative AI into its operations.
TikTok unveiled its new "Symphony Digital Avatars" on Monday for businesses and marketers on the platform to build and spread ad videos for their brands within minutes.
TikTok Symphony Digital Avatars Will be Multi-Lingual
Eligible brands can employ the new feature to promote their products and services through the available stock and custom digital avatars capable of speaking multiple languages.
All digital avatars on the platform are based on real-life content creators, models, and personalities who consented to have their likenesses replicated for the program.
The rollout follows a month after TikTok first announced its Symphony generative AI ad suite to offer brands "an opportunity to be innovative storytellers and connect with their communities in unique and creative ways."
TikTok assures all ads that have AI-generated features will be properly labeled and classified in accordance with the platform's AI policies.
TikTok Unveils More AI-Powered Features for Users, Businesses
On top of its digital avatars, TikTok will also offer brands more access to its AI tools through "AI Dubbing."
TikTok claimed the new feature will allow advertisers to tailor their messages to all audiences around the world "with just a few clicks" as the AI will be providing the dubbed audio.
The AI-dubbed audio will be voiced by the available stock and custom voice packages on the platform.
Aside from "AI Dubbing," businesses can further optimize their ads on the platform to help reach the right audience with the integration of Symphony features to its TikTok Ads Manager.
The company touted the integration as a way to provide users with auto-diagnosis, auto-optimization, and even auto-generation features
Brands are even encouraged to use the new features to generate Display Cards and Carousel Images to attract more clicks and views on their ad videos.
