With 395 skyscrapers to boast of, it comes as no surprise that Dubai is a modern-day neo-futurist haven that combines expert craftsmanship and expansive labor with a seemingly never-ending supply of investment money. As Dubai cements itself as a global player in real estate, let us go over some of its most lucrative properties with the best lift options.

The Burj Khalifa

28 of the 395 skyscrapers in the city are classified as 'supertalls' as they are above 300m. The tallest of them all, The Burj Khalifa, stands at a staggering height of 828 m with 163 floors to top it off. With 57 elevators that can hold up to 14 people each, the lift travels at a speed of 10 meters per second and is among the fastest in the world. It takes only a minute to take you to the top floor from the lobby.

The Burj also features the world's highest outdoor observation deck and a spire visible from 96 km away.

Marina 101

Marina 101 is another one of Dubai's 'supertall,' standing at a sleek 425 m, and is the second-tallest skyscraper in the city. It features one of the world's highest swimming pools on its 75th floor. Its frontage is furnished with glasswork to make elaborate shadows and reflections when the sun is at its highest and most scorching and serves to remind tourists of the enchanting allure of the searing desert.

The club lounge and restaurant on the 101st floor are reachable only via glass-cased elevators placed on the exterior of the building. Marina 101 glistens in the skyline beautifully and is joined by the Princess Tower, which adds to its lucrativeness and concrete glamor.

The Princess Tower

The Princess Tower is crowned with 101 floors above ground and six floors below in the basement. It includes a salon, two restaurants, and ample parking space for its residents. At an alluring 414 meters, it is the third-tallest building in the UAE and Dubai.

Carefully placed in the heart of Dubai Marina, it is a highly amiable place with Dubai's top schools nearby and has more than 700 deluxe apartments to rent or buy. It is decorated with traditional Arabic designs to add a bit of cultural opulence. Its beauty and practicality are to be expected, after all, since it cost a whopping $2.17 billion to construct and adorn.

23 Marina

Up next is one of the most widely recognized skyscrapers in the Dubai skyline, thanks to its bold geometric design and proudly pointed roof to the far left of the city's steely skyline. 23 Marina is one of the most structurally sound buildings in the city, with a design that protects it from strong desert winds. Its exterior is made of blue glass, reflecting sunlight and creating a mini-light show for the onlookers during the day.

There's also a sky lounge on the 89th floor that offers its visitors a glimpse of the city and its aesthetics. Like many other tall buildings in Dubai, it is mainly a residential building with exclusive suites and apartments with private elevators, yet it can't compete with the Burj Khalifa, which not only boasts 57 elevators and a network of escalator systems intended for public and client use.

Elite Residence

Another distinct skyscraper is the Elite Residence building, with its vintage mid-century architecture and golden-yellow color. This provides an eye-catching contrast with the blue-tinted glass work on the exterior and the yellow surrounding it, making an otherworldly glow.

The building offers a beautiful opposition to the other 'supertalls' in the skyline, combining the neo-futurism and gilded glamor of the royal desert. Standing tall and mighty, it offers a sensational view over the famous (and man-made!) Palm Jumeirah beaches.

The Almas Tower

It would be a great disservice to discuss Dubai's contemporary skyline without mentioning the glistening jewel of the Jumeirah Lakes district. The Almas Tower is a lesson in beauty, with its diamond-shaped base and glasswork that gleam throughout the day, offering every visitor a peek at the diamonds that lie within.

Fun fact: The word almas in Arabic actually translates to Diamond! One can imagine why so much effort was put into making it shine like a lone jewel in the city.

Conclusion

Home lifts are becoming quite popular in Dubai for a myriad of reasons, and it is not difficult to imagine why. A city steeped in luxury and futurism will always be more accepting of technological innovations in architecture. If those luxuries aren't planned in their projects, people will look for services to install them in their own homes.

For those looking to enhance their homes with all the latest conveniences, home lifts are becoming a must-have feature. Even senior citizens prefer them because they provide relief by making it easier to navigate their apartments without the pain of climbing up and down every day. With a home lift available in each building, it would be much easier for people with disabilities to join soirées without worrying about the logistics.
