Xbox One To Get New Avatars In November

A set of new animated will be introduced on the Xbox One. Starting November, the avatars can be used on user profiles and will also show up in other places to give users a new experience.

Avatars once ran wild and free on Xbox, but much of their territory was taken away to give room for Xbox One. Users still might catch one from time to time here and there and hopefully before it runs out in front of your car, but Xbox users will be seeing a lot more of the avatars soon.

According to the Major Nelson blog, the latest update of the New Xbox One Experience Preview takes into account new animated avatars to the platform experience. Users will notice modernized avatar twiddling around on their profile, and they will even circulate across other extents of the menu. A new avatar store also appears to be on its way, which will probably once again let users expend real money on virtual fixtures for their polygonal character.

These modifications will land with a cluster of other updates on Xbox One in November, including the backward compatibility on Xbox 360 and other new updates. But another momentous feature has already gone live for all users. The Xbox Live Party Chat now provisions up to 12 people.

The 12-people support is still not quite enough though for a whole battlefield conquest squad, but it does get players a bit closer than the old eight-person handicap. The modifications were managed on the server part, rather than on the client; so users should be able to jolt chat party with more people instantly on any reinforced platform, also to include the Windows 10 Xbox App.

In addition to the new avatars, a new easy-to-use Game DVR is presented that is a mixture of the upload application and the functionality of the Game DVR snap application. Users can now view game clips and screenshots in full screen mode.
