iPhone 7 May Have A Major Redesign

It has not been too long since Apple Inc. has released the iPhone 6, iPhone 6S and iPhone 6 Plus. It has only been a little over a month since the phones have been unveiled and made available in the smartphone market, and they are still enjoying great sales in the market. But true to Apple fashion, almost as soon as an iPhone model has been launched, the upcoming model will be hyped for its pending release. Only this time, it seems that the hype has come earlier.

In truth, even before the iPhone 6 has been released, rumors about the iPhone 7 have already made rounds over the internet. The new iPhone is expected to be released in September next year, as Apple has the habit of introducing new iPhones every September. According to Macworld UK, Apple is also predicted to produce variations of the iPhone 7, much like what it did with the iPhone 6. The site expects a 4.7-inch version and a 5.5-inch version of the iPhone 7 and predicts that a 4-inch variation, which may be called the iPhone 7 Mini, may also be made available by Apple.

In terms of features, Piper Jaffray's Gene Munster, whose Apple predictions have proven to be reliable, has shared that the upcoming iPhone may indeed do away with the home button. The 3-D Force Touch Display may let the iPhone 7 have no need of a physical home button anymore. D'Marge also reported that the device may either be made smaller or the screen be made larger because of the possible elimination of the home button.

An improved battery life is also expected, since Apple has already made improvements with the Macbook's battery. And it makes sense if the iPhone will follow. The company has equipped the Macbook with better processors to lengthen battery life, so the iPhone 7 may come with them as well. Apple may also do away with a 16 GB variation for the iPhone 7, as the size is barely enough for smartphone users these days.

Munster also expressed that the sapphire screen, which has long been rumored about, can finally come to the iPhone 7 model. The sapphire screen is already in the Apple Watch, so maybe it will also come to iPhone 7. We just have to wait until next year to see.
