W Motors Unveils The Fenyr Supersport

At the 2015 Dubai International Motor Show, Arab carmaker W Motors launch the Lykan Hypersport's successor dubbed as the Fenyr Supersport. The new supercar is the second instalment of the Dubai-based carmaker with the company only making 25 units per year.

W Motors is a Middle East-based supercar manufacturer. The Lebanon-born company shot to fame with its first vehicle known as the Lykan Hypersport. At the Dubai International Motor Show that opened on Nov. 10, the car manufacturing company unveiled its latest design known as the Fenyr Supersport.

"The new Fenyr SuperSport is the latest addition to the W Motors line-up of Hypercars focusing purely on performance, power and speed," the company states. "Limited to only 25 units per year, the carbon fiber masterpiece perfectly balances advanced aerodynamics engineering with the aggressive W Motors aesthetics conceived by the W Motors internal design team."

The vehicle's body is made of carbon fibre and a lightweight aluminium tubular chassis that complements it. The Fenyr's design is the evolved form of the earlier Lykan Hypersport, states the company. The vehicle also displays the same angled edges and flashy detailing on each body part angles.

Other specifications of the supercar include forged lightweight alloy mag wheels 20-inch diameter in the front and 21-inch diameter at its rear. the brakes are made up of composite ceramics. For suspensions, the new vehicle uses McPherson struts on the front axle and coil-over shock absorbers on the rear with multilink suspensions. Anti-roll bars are utilized that covers all its four tires.

For the engine specifications, the vehicle is charged with a flat six cylinder, custom-made 4.0L mid-rear twin turbo engines coupled with a double-clutch seven-speed gearbox. With it, the car is able to deliver 1200 newton metres of torque along with 900 brake horsepower. The new vehicle can rev up from 0-100 in less than 2.7 seconds, top speeds up to 400 kilometres per hour.

The Fenyr was designed in collaboration with RUF Automobile GmbH and Italy's Magna Steyr. W Motors is yet to publicize a price tag on the new Arab supercar.
